New Changes
With the new changes every scooter in the OLA lineup would now get a structurally integrated battery pack. These would further help the scooters get more structural integrity. The new scooters would also get mid mounted motor with a chain drive transmission. To further ensure a smooth ride OLA has used lubricated O rings in the chain for better reliability and noise reduction.
New Technology
The Scooters in the OLA range would now get ride by wire system- these would help the scooter in improving in the braking time and reducing the amount of stress that the brake pads undergo during regular braking. From Now On the scooter would also get single channel as well as double channel ABS in certain selected variants. The Motor used by the scooters also varies based on the different models. The Motor capacity ranges from 7 KW to 13 Kw, the range of all the models with 4kw motor would be around 242 km while the S1 Pro X with 5.3 KWH battery would get a range of around 320 km.
New Electric control modules
The Gen 2 had 3 electric control boards integrated into the scooters head unit. But OLA has now reworked the control module and it would now comprise of only one board. This has been an integral step towards improving the overall performance and reliability of the scooters.
New Driving Modes
The Ola S1 Pro +and the Ola S1 pro would offer 4 riding modes: Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco. OLA’s Brake by wire braking technology would help the vehicle brake better. The scooter would have disc brakes up front. The Delivery of the vehicles would start from mid February 2025, the new OS that would underpin all the scooters would also roll out on the same time. The Range of the scooter would be around 320 km.
