Honda seemingly is on a pursuit to renew its whole lineup as after the news of the 160cc bike the brand seems to be in the process of patenting another scooter. The scooter as per the reports would be smaller than that of size of Activa and Dio. The scooter would possibly be lodged in between the Activa and Dio moniker when its launched.
Scooter Patent
Activa and Dio have been able to provide the users with great efficiency, would the new patented scooter would have the same fate? Honda has patented the SCR125 scooter in India, this indicates that the brand might be planning to launch a slew of new bikes and scooters soon. Honda has not themselves confirmed any details about the launch and its possible that the brand might have done this as an ip protection exercise, just like the Honda Cg 160.
The scooter presents a conventional design for families. The scooter has a Dio like front apron mounted headlight along with a nimble and conventional body with a single rotor disc brake upfront. The Rear design of the bike is similar to with halogen tail lights and turn indicators erected.
Honda Scr 125 New Features
The Specs of the scooter would not include too many ground braking innovations, The scooter would have a USB charging port, conventional key operated local and ignition and a single piece seat. These features would possibly allow it to be priced more economically below the price of Honda Activa.
We had also reported a 160 cc patent before and if Honda has been planning to launch all these new vehicles, its possible that along with the new E-Activa the brand might be in the pursuit of bringing in new competitors to go against the likes of Hero, Yamaha and TVS.
