Honda understand the importance of their simple commuter bikes and that’s why over time they have been updating them with the newest features and added options. In The recent news Honda has released new updated shine with a OBD2 compliant engine that has been manufactured keeping the emission regulations and new add on features in perspective. The new 2025 model would be priced at an EX showroom price of Rs 68, 767.
The New bike would have a 98.98 cc air cooled engine , that has been updated to meet the latest emission norms and delivers a 5.43 KW of power at 7500 RPM and a peak torque figure of 8.07Nm. At 5000 rpm. The Bike would continue to use its older 4 speed transmission.
The New Updates
The New update does not only include a updated OBD2 compliant engine. But it would also include new graphics, blacked out alloy wheels, Aluminum grab rails, and a single piece seat. Safety features of the new bike would include drum brakes and a suspension setup that included telescopic suspension up front along with twin rear shock absorbers.
From now on the bike would be available in five color options which er, Black, black and blue, Black and Grey and Black with green.
Honda has updated the model to prevail against the rising competition. The update has been aimed to upkeep their presence and also transform their vehicle to adhere to new emission standards while maintaining competitive pricing.
Before the shine Honda had similarly updated the Unicorn as well. The addition of Obd2 compliant engine would ensure that the overall maintenance would be easier and mechanics would be able to recognize the challenges the engine is suffering from more easily.
