The first quarter of the year showcased a formidable number of car launches such as the KIA Syros, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Mahindra Be 6, and the prospects for the launches to continue along the remainder of the year seem pretty evident. These are a few cars that are up for launch, probably this month. While the brands have shared no tentative plans or launch dates, as per the rumor mill and the industry reports it has become apparent that some of these models will soon be treading down the roads in India. 

KIA Carens Facelift 

The carens has been a formidable choice for users who seek a vehicle that can help them move about and have the practicality of a MPV at an affordable budget.  But the good news does not end here as per a slew of recent reports it seems that KIA  would continue to sell the current model while releasing a new model as well. It’s possible that the new facelift might be given a new moniker while the older-gen model is kept in production and on sale as well.

The test mules that have been spotted while the vehicle was testing suggest new design changes such as a more SUV- like appearance along with vertically oriented tail lamps, new 16 inch-dual tone alloys. So if you have been planning to get the KIA Carens it would be fair if you were to wait or if you sought to buy the lower-end variants you can go along with your purchase decision. 

As per the spread of features on the Syros its possible that the new vehicle would get a lot of new ADAS features as well as switchgear from the Syros. While we were expecting that the new facelift might be launched with a Hybrid powertrain that we have seen on the international models, its possible that the car would be launched with the same engine options as of the current model which includes a 1.5 Litre naturally aspirated Petrol Engine that develops 115 Hp and 144 Nm. Skoda Kodiaq 

Skoda had revealed its plans to reveal a slew of new vehicles in the upcoming few months, one of those few vehicles would be the Skoda Kodaiq. Upfront the car gets a pool of new aesthetic changes such as Kushaq-esque headlights, a new grille as well as a redesigned front fascia. Going along with the rendered the car would have tail lamps that run across its breadth at the rear end. The feature list would get an update as well, users would now get a 12-Inch infotainment screen, ambient lighting, digital instrument cluster, and a slew of other new features as well. 

The car would be powered by a 2.0 Litre Turbo Petrol Engine similar as that of the older Skoda Kodiaq, the engine churns out 190Hp and 320 Nm and the engine has been paired a 7-speed DCT Gearbox. 

New Dark Editions SUV’s-

A recent fad for the manufacturers to bring in new special editions that on the surface are not as special as they might seem continues. Here are a few of the models that you would be able to witness in the upcoming months. Tata would soon be launching a new Tata Curvv Black edition.

As per the news it has become apparent that the black edition special would only be available in the Top Spec accomplished Trim. The black edition would completely be a cosmetic job, with no changes to the overall mechanical parts or the interiors of the vehicle other than a possible badge that says black edition, for the novelty.
