Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV Fully REVEALED! Exterior, Interior & Powertrain – What To Expect?


Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV: Tata Motors is all set to launch the Dark Edition of the Curvv Coupe SUV aiming to attract more buyers. The Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV was recently spotted at a dealership. Now, a video revealing the complete exterior and interior of this new model has surfaced online. Needless to say, the new Curvv Dark Edition is completely black inside and out. MB Auto Car shared this video showcasing the upcoming Tata Curvv Dark Edition on its YouTube channel. The video, apparently made at a dealership, showcases an exterior walkthrough of the Curvv, followed by the interior reveal. Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming car:

Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV: Sleek & Bold Exterior Design

Externally, the Curvv Dark Edition is painted in gloss black, just like its Safari, Harrier, Nexon, and Nexon.ev siblings. The body panels and the side claddings, have received the gloss black paint job, enhancing its premium appeal. Furthermore, the grille accents and badges also get dark chrome finish.

The front fenders feature the familiar #Dark badging. Additionally, all window trims and exterior elements are blacked out, enhancing its bold presence. The 18-inch petal-shaped diamond-cut alloy wheels remain unchanged from the standard model. Furthermore, it retains the same connected LED DRLs, headlights, and taillights.

Tata Curvv Dark Edition: Premium & Tech-Loaded Interior

The interior of the Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV features an all-black interior. All seats feature black leatherette upholstery, and the dashboard has a black finish. The headrests feature the #Dark embossing, a signature feature of all Tata Dark Edition models.

The Curvv Dark Edition also features a black headliner. The video shows the panoramic sunroof, indicating that this is the top-spec Accomplished variant.

The upcoming car will offer features such as ambient lighting, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, a four-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, an air purifier, a wireless charger, an illuminated and cooled glovebox, an electrochromic IRVM, an electronically controlled rear boot lid, and powered and ventilated front seats.

Engine & Transmission Choices

In terms of powertrain, the Tata Curvv Dark Edition SUV will likely get the same 1.2-litre Hyperion direct-injection petrol engine. This engine produces 123 bhp and 225 Nm of torque. The available options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional 7-speed DCT transmission.

The Tata Curvv also offers a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque.
