Suzuki Updates Maruti Suzuki Eeco And Wagon R With New Safety Updates! 6 Air Bags As Standard News24 –


Wagon R has been a formidable choice for Indians in the hatchback segment. Witnessing the increasing competition in the segment Suzuki has updated the vehicle with new safety additions. The 2025 Wagon R has been overhauled with 6 airbags as standard. Here is a closer look at the new updates. 

2025 Wagon R

Where prices are concerned, the 2025 Wagon R is priced at Rs  5,64,000 for the base variant, while the top of the line ZXI + AGS variant goes all the way up to Rs 7,35,000. The company has been updating its lineup to offer 6 airbags as standard and both the Wagon R as well as the Suzuki Eeco have been updated for similar changes. 

As per the new updates, the wagon R would now be dearer by around Rs 13,000, depending upon the variant. Apart from 6 airbags, the car would be provided with ABS,EBD and Hill Hold Assist along with 3 point seatbelts and reminders for all occupants. 

Other than the addition of the airbags, no other changes have been added to the car across the line up. All the equipment remains the same. The Trim levels are exactly the same, and include variants such as LXI,VXI, and ZXI. CNG trim is available in LXI as Well as the VXI Trim. The two engines that are on offer would be the 65 Bhp 1.0l 3 0 Cyl Naturally aspirated  petrol Engine, and a 88 Hp 1.2 L 4 -cylinder Na petrol Engine. 

Suzuki Eeco 

Beyond the Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki has further improved the Suzuki Eeco as well. Suzuki has improved the safety quotient of the car with the addition of 6 airbags as standard across all the variants. As of now the Suzuki Eeco starts from Rs 5.44 lakh for the base standard (o) and Goes all the way till Rs 6.7 lakh for Ac (0) 5s CNG variant. Beyond that Suzuki would be offering a 6 seater variant where the middle row gets two captain seats as well. The new seating configuration would be offered with standard (0) trim and not the Ac (0) trim.
