With the latter part of the year still looming ahead, manufacturers have been planning extensively to launch a slew of bikes that would add to the already illustrious line up of bikes in the market. For some reason most of these entrants are meant for the mid size adventure off roader segment. That either has to do with the fact that the segment has been able to gain a formidable popularity here or due to the piquing interest of enthusiast riders in the adventure segment. Here are the bikes that you should look out for.
TVS RTX 300
The TVS RTX 300 would be one pf the most prominent adventure tourer that would soon be launched in the Indian market. This would be the first adventure bike from TVS and would compete against the likes of KTM of roaders and Hero Expulse. The bike was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo and then taken off after a while. It is probable that TVS was dubious regarding the launch of the bike at that time. But with a recent sighting of a test mule it’s pretty apparent that the bike would be launched in the market soon.
The Test mule that was spotted revealed, that the bike would possibly run on 19-17 inch alloy wheel setup and it’s also possible that TVS might soon launch a more road centric version of the same bike as well. The bike would be powered by a RT-XD4 engine, a 299 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that would probably churn out 35Bhp along with a peak torque of 28.5 Nm.
BMW F450 GS
BMW has also been planning to carve a piece of the gigantic adventure offroader pie with their new BMW F450 Gs’. The Standout features of the bike would be the smallest and the most affordable multi cylinder offering by BMW would be its exquisite looks and long travel suspension. The Production version of the bike was recently seen testing and looked road ready. The bike most probably be manufactured, in India by TVS and the launch of the bike would take place sometime in November or December.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
Being able to grab high stakes in the midsize bike segment in India, Royal Enfield has now been planning to compete on the 750 cc segment with international competitors such as Kawasaki and Suzuki. The 750 cc version of the new Himalayan has been spotted testing a few times already and its possible that the first 750cc bike that the brand launches would be a Continental GTR. a 750cc café racer. The brand has been planning to grab a majority stake in new budding markets of Indonesia, and hence they have been trying to diversify their lineup with new 750cc bikes.

KTM 390 SMC R
The proverbial stalwart of hooliganism is all set to launch their first ever super moto in India. The KTM 390 SMC R. The bike would share most of its parts with the 390 Enduro R. It would run on 17 inch wheels on both ends. With a extended suspension travel that can easily tackle any task you endeavor to take the bike on the SMC-r could initiate a new segment in the Indian biking community.
