Honda Hornet CB 750 Launch Imminent! To Be Placed Below Yet To launch Hornet CB 1000 News24 –


Honda’s relentless barrage of launches seems to continue as the brand has recently revealed that it would soon be launching an all new CB750 Hornet naked streetfighter style bike. While the details are scarce Honda has revealed that they are looking to price the bike somewhere around Rs 9 Lakh, Ex Showroom Delhi. The Hornet CB 750 has already been a formidable competitor to the street fighter from Kawasaki in the international biking scene.

Performance Specs of The CB750

The CB750 Hornet is a street friendly counterpart very similar to the Xl750 Transalp ADV sold in India. Both of these vehicles share the same engine, a 755cc, twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine making a 92HP @ 9500 RPM and 75 Nm of peak torque at 7250 RPM. The closest competition to the bike would be Honda CB650R, the naked street bike. Beyond the premium engine, the street bike would be able to offer four riding modes that would include Sport, Standard, Rain and User). Beyond that the bike would also have a Bluetooth- Compatible TFT display and a bidirectional quick shifter available for the Hornet CB750. 

CBU Import Route for the CB 750

As per a report by Autocar, The Honda CB750 Would be brought in as a CBU import positioned within the price range of Rs 8.80 lakh and Rs 9.20 lakh. Which would places it quite closer to the CBR650R. The Hornet would compete against the Aprilia Tuono660 but the Tuono is pretty expensive at Rs 17.44 lakh. Beyond the 750 Honda is also planning to launch the all new Honda CB1000 in India. 

Honda seems to be in a pursuit to launch a slew of its premium offerings from the international market in India. All of these bikes would be sold through the Bigwing premium dealerships that Honda has reserved for its high end products. While Honda has not revealed any future plans, its possible that Honda might launch more premium flagship bikes in India yet again.
