Tata Motors has finally launched the all new Altroz in India after a major design update, the redesigned Altroz premium hatchback is all set to go on sale soon. Bookings for the vehicle would commence on June the 2nd and deliveries would start soon after that. The Altroz has been launched at a price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-Showroom) for the base variant Petrol MT The Prices then go all the way upto Rs 11.29 Lakh( Ex-Sh) from the top spec accomplished a Diesel MT Variant. Tata has changed the previous model hierarchy and added all new personas to give the vehicles a much more premium appeal
Exterior Updates
The new Tata Altroz now gets a redesigned front fascia and fog lights. LED DRLs are now a part of the headlights. The redesigned front fascia has a larger air dam that lends the vehicle its sporty look and performance output. A segment first would be the flush door handles, similar to the Curvv compact SUV, Drag cut R 16 Alloy Wheels.
New Interiors Key Highlights
On the inside the car would be equipped with an all new dashboard and center console. Other notable additions would include a new 10.22 inch TFT instrument cluster that is capable of showcasing full screen maps. The car would also be equipped with a two spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo. The new center console for the automatic variant would also get a new gear selector Knob. Other features would include, Wireless Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Rear AC Vents, front and rear arm rests, voice activated sunroof, Connected Car Tech, Keyless Entry, and Push Start, Stop Button. Beyond that users would be able to enjoy 65 w USB fast charger, 360-Degree Camera and Blindspot Monitoring.
With the rising awareness about safety on the road the Altroz has been equipped with 6 air bags standard across all variants. Other standard safety equipment’s would include ESP, ABS, EBD. 5 Star crash rated bodyshell and other elements as standard. With the updated list its only inevitable that the hatchback would be able to score a near perfect safety score in Bharat crash tests.
Powertrain
The Tata Altroz would be available with Two engine options a 1.2 three cylinder engine as well as a 4 cylinder 1.5 L Turbo Diesel engine. The Turbo Petrol engine has been dropped as a possible choice for users. A CNG variant would also be available with the Petrol variant and gearbox options would include 5-Speed MT. 5Speed AMT and A 6 speed DCA.
