Comparing the Altroz to Baleno and Glanza, both of them have a higher power output than that of the Tata Altroz. The Altroz follows up closely with its 88HP and then the Hyundai i20 at 83hp. Torque figures are extremely close but the Altroz takes the advantage with its 115Nm followed by Hyundai i20 at 114.7 nm and the Baleno Duo at 113Nm.
But with the Hyundai i20 users have the option of going for N line variants. The N line variants are powered by a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine that develops 120Hp and 172 Nm of peak Torque. The Outgoing Altroz racer offered a similar performance output but since its no longer available its possible that Tata might soon launch a sporty variant of the Altroz again.
