Tata Harrier EV’s Segment First E-Valet And Digital Access Features Detailed! A Valuable Proposition At Rs 21.49 Lakhs? News24 –


The Long awaited Tata Harrier has finally been launched, to ensure that the vehicle has a formidable advantage over other EV SUV’s in the segment Tata has given it a slew of segment first features and a extensive spec sheet. The new Harrier EV would be powered by a dual motor setup that would produce around 158 PS of power at the front and 238 PS at the rear. The Harrier EV would primarily be rear wheel drive biased and the front wheels would initiate drive only when necessary. 

The Harrier EV would be able to offer 504 nm of peak torque with a dual motor setup. The quad wheel drive setup for the Harrier would be driven off its a propulsion system rear motor from Schaeffler. To further ensure that the vehicle can easily tackle off-roading tasks that you endeavor to take on the Harrier EV has been equipped with 6 terrain modes specially crafted for off-roading use. Since Tata has equipped with vehicle with a bunch of segment first features here is a list of the segment first features. 

e-Valet 

e- Valet, a segment first feature that would enable Harrier EV to parallel or perpendicular park at your command. This would be a segment first innovation that would allow the user to define parking spaces, eliminating the need for conventional marked spots. Beyond the auto parking feature the car would also have reverse assist and Summon mode that allows users to remotely summon the vehicle out of tight parking spots. 

Clear View Assist 

 The new Creta would offer a 540 degree surround view, ensuring that the driver has a crystal clear view of the entire driving environment, Beyond these features the added transparent mode would allow the users to take a gander directly beneath their vehicle to navigate through potholes, curbs, with confidence. Beyond this the vehicle would also have an all new alert system that would alert the driver before they end up curbing a vehicle with their car.

Digital Access 

 With The all new Harrier EV, your iPhone, Apple Watch compatible smartphones can become your smart key- users would not have to carry a physical key anymore. Thanks to the all new Ultra Wide Band Technology the car would be able to recognize your proximity allowing you to lock or unlock the drive without even reaching for your device. Beyond that, users can use a smart card or a remote key for an easy ingress and egress from the vehicle. 

New Entertainment features 

Tata has aimed to change their cabin into a zenith space, hence the Harrier EV has been equipped with an all new Samsung Neo QLED 14.53 inch screen a first in the segment. Beyond that the speaker setup would have JBL Black speakers with Dolby Atmos and Arcade EV features. To further ensure that the users do not have issues while navigating the car would have an inbuilt support for Mappls.  Beyond that, the car would have a 55+ connected car  features and Drive pay accessibilities as well.
