A recent update has revealed that Triumph Scrambler 400X as well as the Speed T4 are now available with a 10 year warranty program. The said program would comprise 5 years of standard warranty and 5- years of extended warranty that would cover the TR series engine and a few electrical components. KTM India has also announced a 10- years warranty on the 390 Duke. If purchased until June 30, the 10-year warranty for the bike would be available at no extra cost and would be transferable as well. Both the warranty periods have showcased the brands immense trust in bikes. The KTM Duke 390 has been recently updated with an all new form of cruise control, which further adds to the feature list of the bike. Beyond that, the bike also gets cornering traction control, ABS Ride Modes and Quickshifter.
Before KTM and Triumph, Yamaha had also offered a similar warranty on their bikes if bought within a time period. Beyond that users can easily attain such a warranty by paying a nominal fee. It’s possible that KTM and Triumph might work out a similar arrangement as well.
