Could The Next Bike From TVS Be A 450CC Apache RR! Here’s What The New BMW Platform Might Spawn News24 –
The existing TVS Apache RR310 was launched 8 years back and over the years the bike has gone through a series of updates. Such constant updates have helped the bike stay updated against its competitors and ensure a formidable advantage to users. The TVS Apache RR is now up for an engine update that would enable it to compete with new entrants in the segment and gain its stake in the competition.
As per latest reports from a number of media outlets, it has been revealed that TVS is expected to soon manufacture a bike based on BMW’s 450cc twin cylinder platform. Would the bike be a 450 cc adventure off-roader as that of the BMW or an RR Sports bike is still a mystery. But TVS would be leveraging the all new 450CC twin cylinder engine to churn out a new bike that will compete with the likes of other bikes in the segment.
Since TVS is already working on an all new RTX 300, an off-roader that was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo as well, it’s possible that the 450CC power mill might be used for track focused bikes. Beyond that it has also been confirmed that an Entry Level Norton bike is in the works as well that could be based on a existing or the new platform.
TVS Apache RR 450?
The TVS Apache RR 450 would have a similar persona. It would help the brand have an offering that cane easily compete with the likes of Aprilia RS 457 and Kawasaki Ninja 500. With the increasing competition such an offering would help the brand diversify its offering and provide the end users with the light amalgam of performance and styling.
