Hyundai Palisade Hybrid- New Competitor To Toyota Fortuner Coming To India Soon! Features And Specs Revealed News24 –


Hyundai has recently showcased its extensive plans to launch a slew of new vehicles that would make to the Indian market by 2026. Hyundai has unveiled that it would be launching the Bayon soon, ahead of that they would also be launching the all new Palisade by 2028 as per Autocar. Hyundai has been planning an aggressive 26 product launch  that would extend all the way till 2030. Beyond the Palisade the vehicle has a few other vehicles in their lineup that they plan to launch soon.

Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Powertrain 

The Palisade would be offered with either a 2.5 Litre 4 cylinder Turbo Petrol or a 1.6 litre 4 cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine with Hybrid. The Engine is able to produce an output of about 334 Hp and a peak torque figure of 460 Nm,  With a max fuel efficiency of 14.1 KPL. Hyundai would possibly bring the Hybrid powertrain to India considering the overall scope of Hybrid engines in India. The Palisade is also sold with a 290 Hp and 353 Nm of peak torque producing V6 on the overseas market. But the chances of this engine making it to India are pretty slim. 

A 6 speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive layout are standard on the Palisade Hybrid. The SUV is known for its three drive modes the Eco, Sport and My Drive and beyond that it also offers three terrain modes – Mud Snow and Sand. 

Hyundai Palisade Exterior 

The Hyundai Palisade showcases a boisterous appeal with an aggressive SUV stance, the notable styling elements of the new Palisade include a Vertically slatted grill with vertically lined headlamps. Beyond that, the car also has a wide grille. With 21 inch -15 spoke alloy wheels and silver finish for the body cladding, D pillars and Roof Rails. The Palisade would come with a tree row layout that can accommodate close to about 8 occupants. Options extras include a second row captain seats with deployable footrests. 

The Palisade would provide the users with a dual screen setup  that would comprise of a 12.3 inch infotainment system and a 12.3 inch digital drivers display. Beyond these the car would be packed to the brim with convenience features such as , A digital Key, 360 Degree Camera, Panoramic Sunroof, Wireless Android Auto, And Apple Carplay, Powered seats and 14 -bose speaker system along with Vehicle to load functionality. Further ADAS suite and built in dashcam would further ensure that the car is able to provide the ultimate luxury experience to the buyers. 

Prices 

Hyundai seemingly wants their Palisade to compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq. The Car would possibly be launched at a price of Rs 50 Lakh. The current price for the Palisade is around Rs 31.60 lakh which further ensure that the car would be launched around the ballpark figure of 50 Lakh.
