Could This Be The All New India Bound Suzuki Swift Sport? New Design And Specs Detailed! News24 –

Amid the ongoing expansion of product lines, could the Suzuki Swift Sport be the next Indian launch for Suzuki? In a recent news update published by Bestcar web, a new rendition of the Suzuki Swift Sport was spotted. The article reported the arrival of two new monikers one being the Suzuki Swift Sport and the other a Toyota Starlet. While the Toyota Starlet has never been sold in India, the Suzuki swift has been a veritable name in the History of Indian Auto Industry.  And there are veritable chances of the car being launched in India in the future.

As per the Article by the Japanese website the new iteration of the swift sport could be equipped with a 1.4L Inline 4 Cylinder Turbo + 48V mild Hybrid setup, and beyond that the body and suspension could be tuned for better performance. Suzuki has given India a slew of performance hatchbacks before. These included the Suzuki Baleno RS which had a 1.0 litre three cylinder turbo engine. The Swift Sport that is currently on sale has rigid axle supports, and tuned coil springs to strike the optimum balance under stress.

While the new Suzuki Swift Sport was expected to have been launched within 2025 in the global markets, it is possible that the car might be launched soon. In the global markets the Suzuki Sport would compete against the likes of Toyota Starlet that are both now scheduled to be released in 2026.

New Swift Sport Design Update

The Swift Sport had a similar look as that of the existing Suzuki Swift. The new car that has been showcased by the Japanese publication has a newly designed front fascia with new styling accents that droop down from the headlight and continue till the bumper. The front grill of the new sport has been changed as well. It now has a slatted front grill with an aggressive front fascia quite different from the current gen Swift. The car further has, low profile tires with a set of sporty alloys as well as red calipers that would possibly be a part of the new Sport version of the sport hatchback.

As of yet Suzuki has revealed their plans to manufacture new Hybrid models and an all-new 5 seater ahead. Suzuki has not revealed any impetus to launch the Swift Sport yet. The 1.4 hybrid engine that the car is powered by in the global market is not available in India, hence it’s possible that if the vehicle is launched in India it would be powered by a 1 liter three cylinder Turbo engine that previously powered the Baleno Rs.
