Mahindra Thar Facelift Spotted Testing! New Front Fascia, Feature Upgrades Expected Soon News24 –
Mahindra Thar has been working on an all new facelift for Thar Three door model. The vehicle has been on sale for 5 years, over time it has been the first choice for users who like Off-road adventures. Although the car has been a formidable off-roading vehicle, its looks have started to seem dated ever since the launch of the new Thar Roxx. To ensure both of their offerings seem fresh Mahindra is now working on new facelift for the Mahindra Thar which became widely apparent as a new test mule with a new front fascia was spotted testing .
Apparently some of the new features that we saw on the Thar Roxx would now be taken over to the Thar three door. Since Mahindra has been planning a slew of new launches along with an all new Bolero that was recently seen testing. It is possible that the car would be unveiled somewhere around the festive season.
Mahindra Thar Facelift Interior
Steering wheel of the vehicle is the same as before and the instrument panel behind it might be the same as seen on the Thar Roxx, a 10.2 inch TFT screen. The vehicle spotted had no sunroof. The interiors of the vehicle spotted were rather spartan and its possible that once the final design is cleared for production the car might be equipped with all the necessary contemporary features such as ADAS, Ventilated seats.
Since the vehicle spotted had no gear selector for the 4X4 transfer case it must have been a RWD model.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the vehicle would be changed slightly with a new front fascia, the car would have a revised grille, headlights, tail lamps and tweaked fenders to gain parity with the looks of Thar Roxx.
Engine and Performance
The Thar Roxx would be powered by a selection of petrol and diesel engines, these would include a 2.0 litre Turbo Petrol, and a 1.5 litre diesel engine and beyond that a 2.2 litre Diesel engine as well. Transmission options would include a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic.
