KTM Hits Back! Launches New Enduro Export Spec Variant! Heres How It Compres To The Kawasaki Versys 300 News24 –
Austrian company KTM has broadened its Indian lineup by introducing two new motorcycles. KTM has broadened its Indian lineup by introducing two new motorcycles. After receiving negative feedback for reducing suspension travel in the Indian version of the Enduro R, Austrian company KTM has responded by launching an export-spec version. This new model comes with full-length suspension and is priced at ₹3.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
Before the launch of the export-spec bike, its parent company, Bajaj, had reduced the suspension travel on the KTM 390 Enduro R to 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear. Although the suspension setup might have been adequate for off-roading, bike enthusiasts preferred the fully-equipped version. Now, they can buy the export variant by paying just ₹15,000 more.
The Export model has a suspension travel of around 230MM at both ends, hence the seat height has gone up by 35mm to 895mm, and the ground clearance has also increased from 253mm to 277mm. Beyond that, the bike is almost the same as the Indian spec version.
The Enduro R is based on the same platform as the KTM 390 Adventure. The new Enduro could be considered as a stripped-down version of the ADV, more than a full-on Enduro bike. The 390 Enduro comes with a smaller 9-litre fuel tank and a slim TFT display, matching its dirt bike-style design. However, it shares the same main frame and engine as the 390 Adventure.
Both bikes are still powered by the same powermill, a 399 cc single-cylinder engine that makes close to 46hp and 39 Nm of Torque. Here is how the bike compares to its contemporary competitors
