Toyota Glanza Updated With 6 Airbags And New Limited Period


Toyota has unveiled the new Glanza with additional safety features and latest updates. The car will now be available with six airbags as standard across different variants. This new move is a significant shift towards offering users a car with comprehensive occupant protection, aligning with the growing need for safer vehicles. 

Glanza has now become a venerable competitor with other hatchbacks in the lineup. With this new change, it will be further able to reinforce its safety-first approach. 

Beyond The New Safety Upgrade 

Besides the new safety equipment, Toyota has also introduced a new limited-period accessory bundle dubbed the “Prestige Package”. The package is available till July 31 and includes a range of cosmetic additions designed to enhance the vehicle’s styling and in-cabin experience. The package will include, Chrome-trimmed body side mouldings, premium door visors, rear lamp, lower grille garnishes, illuminated door sills, and a rear skid plate. These accessories will be dealer-fitted and offered as optional enhancements. 

The Glanza continues to appeal to a wide demographic, especially urban commuters and first-time car buyers, thanks to its fuel efficiency, compact dimensions, and added features. 

Mechanical Updates 

Mechanically, the hatchback will remain the same as before and still be powered by a 1.2 litre K-series petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmission options. Glanza is being offered with an extended feature list along with CNG variants as well.

Toyota’s list of extensive features will include a 9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, 360-degree camera, connected car features, and other comfort-oriented touches like rear AC vents and Automatic climate control. With the new update, the Glanza is now priced at Rs 6.90 lakh(Ex-showroom) and continues to be backed by Toyota’s standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty, which is extendable up to 5 years.
