A recent update, has revealed that Suzuki will be renewing the current generation Jimny with a mid life refresh that as per the media reports by Rushlane will break cover in August 2025. The news was first revealed by Japanese magazine Creative Trend.
The Jimny is known for its small footprint and the lightweight ladder chassis design that makes it an easy-to-handle SUV that can easily take on all of the demanding tasks and adventures. Since the vehicle has completed a stint of around 7 years, the Jimny is now due for a mid-life refresh, and the new facelift, as alleged by the international reports, will break cover in August 2025. Suzuki will not be revising the design as much, but it’s possible that Suzuki might equip the new SUV with a hybrid powertrain.
New Safety Features
The car will be equipped with new safety credentials and have new features and technologies that would equip it to compete with other competitors in the segment. Suzuki India has not revealed or confirmed any such facelift. The vehicle might gain a new ADAS system that will further help the vehicle feature an emergency braking system as well. Variants that have been fitted with the automatic gearbox will have adaptive cruise control and other features as well.
The all-new Hybrid engine would help the SUV pass the latest stringent emission standards. The latest reports do not confirm any developments of a Hybrid Powertrain with this new update the Jimny.
