Could This Be The Upcoming Volkswagen T-Roc? Leaked Renderings Reveal Fresh Design News24 –

The wheels of innovation in the auto industry are always turning, with brands constantly developing and refreshing the appearances of their vehicles to keep their lineups fresh. In a similar pursuit, it seems that Volkswagen is planning to bring in an all-new T-Roc with revised styling. While the brand has not confirmed any details, a leaked concept drawing has fueled rumors that a new T-Roc might soon be developed by the brand.

The T-Roc was once sold in India as well. Volkswagen offered the SUV from 2020 to 2021. At the time, the car was powered by a 1.5 TSI engine producing 148 Bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Brought to India as a CBU import for a limited time, the T-Roc was always a rare car to behold. With the first batch, Volkswagen could only retail 1,000 units, and by the second year of its run in India, the car was discontinued.

Volkswagen has been planning to venture deeper into the Indian market with a string of new monikers. The recent stint of selling the Golf GTI has helped the brand establish its image as a marque with a performance pedigree and significant history, and it’s possible that the all-new T-Roc might build on that.

The leaked sketches showcase a completely new design philosophy compared to what we’ve previously seen from Volkswagen. The front fascia carries sharp styling cues that mimic the Lamborghini Urus. To further add to its appeal, the car features a slanting roofline that flows across the rear panel. The thick C-pillar highlights the designers’ intent to give the car a more coupe-like stance.

Since Volkswagen has not confirmed anything, this could very well be a rendering that may never make it to reality-let alone to India. But if it does, the car will almost certainly carry an enigmatic appeal.
