TVS is all set to launch the Ntorq 150, a new and more powerful version of its popular scooter, as it looks to expand the lineup. The sporty model is expected to be rolled out on Thursday, September 4. The company has been teasing fans with visuals, the latest one offering a glimpse of the scooter’s exhaust note. That kind of throaty sound isn’t usually heard from scooters. As TVS gets ready to unveil the Ntorq 150, here’s what to expect from the upcoming scooter.
TVS Ntorq 150: Expected Design And Features
A teaser released earlier offered a sneak peek at the refreshed headlamp cluster. The T-shaped housing with a quad-LED setup gives the upcoming Ntorq 150 a more distinctive look than the current Ntorq 125. The new model is also expected to adopt a Maxi-style design instead of the smaller silhouette. In line with its rivals, the scooter is likely to run on 14-inch wheels.
As TVS’ flagship ICE scooter, the Ntorq 150 is expected to come loaded with smart features. It may get a fully digital TFT display with Bluetooth support, powered by TVS SmartXonnect. Riders can use it for navigation, call and text alerts, service reminders, and more.
TVS Ntorq 150: Expected Specs
The Ntorq 150 will most likely run on a new 150cc engine, marking TVS’ entry into the 150cc scooter segment alongside rivals like the Hero Xoom 160, Aprilia SR 175, and Yamaha Aerox 155. The engine could be based on the 159.7cc unit used in the Apache range. The power mill is likely to deliver around 14–15 bhp.
TVS Ntorq 150: Expected Price
The TVS Ntorq 150 is expected to be priced more aggressively below Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), as its engine construction may be less complex than that of its rivals. For comparison, the Yamaha Aerox 155 costs Rs 1.51 lakh, while the Hero Xoom 160 is priced at Rs 1.49 lakh (both ex-showroom).
