The Level 2 ADAS suite brings a host of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, auto high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert and collision warning, and a driver drowsiness detector.
Tata has also introduced the Nexon EV Empowered +A in Dark and Red Dark colourways, priced at Rs 17.49 lakh a Rs 20,000 premium over the standard ADAS-equipped variant.
Apart from the ADAS tech, the new top-spec Empowered +A variant shares the rest of its features with the Empowered+ model. Highlights include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system.
The Nexon EV is available with two battery options – 30 kWh and 45 kWh. The ADAS suite is offered only with the larger 45 kWh battery, which has an ARAI-certified range of 489 km, and a real-world range of approximately 350 km.
