Lok Adalat 2025: Vehicle owners across India will get a chance to settle their pending traffic challans at the National Lok Adalat, which is scheduled to be held today, on 13th September 2025. Organized in courts across the country, the Lok Adalat is meant for minor traffic violations such as driving without a helmet or seat belt, over-speeding, wrong parking, or not having a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.

Citizens who attend can benefit from reduced fines or complete waivers, helping them save time and money while avoiding long court processes.

Serious offences such as drunk driving, hit-and-run incidents, and negligent driving causing death will not be covered. By offering users this one-day platform, the government aims to reduce pressure on courts and encourage people to follow traffic rules more responsibly.
