Witnessing the rising sales in the 7-seater segment nationwide, Suzuki has updated its popular MPV, the Suzuki Ertiga, with a slew of new creature comforts. The timing of the updates ensures that the brand is eyeing soaring sales volume for the Ertiga moniker. Already one of the country’s best-selling MPVs, Ertiga is all set to compete with the likes of Carens and Triber.
New Updates
To ensure that the design of the vehicle does not look dated in front of competitors, Suzuki has given the car an all-new spoiler to help it stand out. The bolder look with black accents is standard across all trims. Suzuki has also reworked the AC vents, shifting them from the roof to the rear of the centre console. The third row gets independent vents on the right side with adjustable blower controls.
USB-C Charging Ports
For added convenience, Suzuki has also added Type-C charging ports for both the second and the third rows, catering to users and adding to the comfort level in all rows.

Mechanical Changes?
Suzuki has not altered the mechanical features of the car in any manner. It’s still powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine delivering 102 BHP and 136.8 Nm of peak torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The CNG option is available with the manual gearbox and produces 87 BHP and 121.5 Nm.
With the all-new Post GST 2.0 reforms, the prices will now start at Rs 8.80 lakh (Ex Showroom).
