If you have been planning to buy a new vehicle, it would be wise to wait a little, as a slew of new launches are yet to break cover. Going by the test mules that have been sighted and media reports, it’s possible that the cars that have been mentioned below might be launched in the coming months. Here’s everything you need to know.
Nissan C-segment SUV
As per the sightings and the new plans that have been detailed by the brand, Nissan is expected to launch a new compact MPV based on the Renault Triber. It will have a lot in common with the forthcoming Duster, set to launch in H1 2026. As per the new details that have surfaced online, the car is expected to make a debut on October 7. As per the details, the car will be powered by a turbocharged petrol engine, at least initially. It will give rise to a seven-seater sibling as well.
Updated Mahindra Thar Facelift
In contrast to previous test mules, the updated 3-door Thar is only expected to get minor visual revisions, while the existing petrol and diesel engines will be retained with the same transmission choices. As per the test mules that have been sighted, the interior will be updated with a new, bigger screen and a slew of other new features as well.

Skoda Octavia RS

The car was first showcased by Skoda at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 earlier this year. It will officially go on sale on October 17 and will be brought into the country via CBU route. The initial lot will comprise of only 100 units and will also boast a host of mechanical enhancements compared to that of the standard models.
The car will be equipped with a 2.0L Turbo Petrol mill, kicking out 261 bhp at 370 Nm.
Citroen Aircross X
Following the debut of the X range in the C3 hatchback and Basalt SUV coupe, Citroen India is now gearing up to bring in a similar spec Aircross X. The French brand will introduce features such as all-LED lighting setup, new seat upholstery, ventilated seats, and more, but the powertrain is expected to remain the same.
