Though it may have several plans under the name “Entertainment Plans,” it is only the Jio 949 prepaid plan that offers a free Jio Hotstar subscription. Reliance Jio RS 949 Prepaid Plan Details

The RS949 plan operates for a period of 84 days and gives 2GB of high-speed 4G data every day. In locations with Jio coverage through its 5G network, it also provides unlimited access to the 5G network. Other facilities provided are unlimited local and national calls and the ability to send 100 SMS per day for the entire subscription period.

Hotstar Subscription Plan

The most exciting part of the plan is the Jio Hotstar subscription. The mobile version of this subscription costs Rs149 per month and allows for streaming of live sports, movies, and Disney+ Originals on one mobile device. The resolution is limited to 720p, and the plan shows ads.

Other Subscriptions To Hotstar

For the past year, Jio Hotstar has had many different plans that provide higher quality streaming. The Super plan costs Rs 299 for three months and provides users streaming in 1080p on mobile, web, and smart TVs, supporting two devices. The Premium plan is at a cost of Rs 499 for three months and is ad-free while allowing streaming in 4K on four devices.
