Gautam Adani’s Speech: The Adani Group today announced a massive Rs 50,000 crore investment in Assam, marking one of the highest-ever investment commitments by a business group to the state. Addressing the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment & Infrastructure Summit 2025 in Guwahati, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said, “the investment will span airports, aero-cities, city gas distribution, power transmission, cement and road projects, significantly boosting infrastructure development and employment generation in the state.”

Adani highlighted Assam’s transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. “Assam is on a path to greatness, and we at the Adani Group are honoured to walk this path alongside you. This is our commitment, this is our vision, and this is the promise we make today — to you, to Assam and to the future we will build together,” said Adani.

Adani Said, “It is a privilege to stand before you today at Advantage Assam 2.0. Every time I set foot in this sacred land of Maa Kamakhya, I am captivated by its natural and limitless beauty. Just as the mighty river Brahmaputra reshapes the landscape of this state to carve its own path, I must say that it is our Hon’ble Prime Minister who has reshaped the landscape of possibilities for Assam.”

He further said, “Hon’ble Prime Minister, like a master weaver, you are the first leader to have blended the seven sister states into the fabric of our nation. Your Act East Policy and the programs to enhance connectivity and infrastructure are not just initiatives. They are monuments of hope for the entire region. You have not only integrated Assam and its sister states into India’s growth story but laid the path to make them catalysts for our nation’s future as well as boost trade and investment with the Southeast Asian nations.”

Praisig the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma, Gautam Adani said, “Every time I meet you, I leave inspired. Your fight against social evils like drug abuse and child marriage is not just a campaign. It is a mission to shape the heart of Assam. Your vision for infrastructure is equally inspiring.
