Adani Green Energy Gallery Attracts 7 Lakh Visitors At London’s Science Museum News24 –

On Wednesday Adani Green Energy Limited announced that 700,000 guests attended the Science Museum gallery in London during its initial year to view low-carbon future innovations, as per reports. Having obtained sponsorship from AGEL and Science Museum support the gallery opened on March 26, 2024, through an official unveiling by Gautam Adani at his position as AGEL Chairman. Free entry helps people learn about renewable energy systems that fight climate change.
The gallery presents viable ecological actions toward effective climate change solutions and attracts large visitor numbers each year according to the press release.

During the last 12 months, the gallery teams performed tours about energy transition for the Climate Change Committee, Met Office, World Energy Council, and more than 40 different organizations.

According to its statement, these tours have enabled stakeholders to understand energy transition methods needed to combat climate change. The gallery received both the 2024 Brick Award for innovation and showed visitors the first 100% hydrogen-fired brick as a low-carbon bench.

The organization reported its energy transition and climate change fighting experience from these tours helped visitors understand more about these subjects.
A single bench stands at the gallery and uses 100% hydrogen as fuel through a groundbreaking global hydrogen firing demonstration.
The display showcases how the world can produce and consume energy better to fight climate change while presenting a potential future option in low-carbon brick manufacturing because three productive cycles release 81% to 84% less carbon than burning natural gas.
The updated tracker at the Adani Green Energy Gallery displays British power supply carbon intensity data with its decarbonization meter that shows how many grams of carbon dioxide went into the atmosphere with each unit of electricity output per year.

According to exhibited data from 2024 the United Kingdom achieved its lowest emission output of 47 kilograms of CO2 per 1 kilowatt hour of electricity delivered. According to their statement, the gallery will monitor UK CO2 emissions from 2019 to 2035.

The gallery focuses on climate science by showing what steps we need to take for our planet to shift to renewable energy systems that fight climate change according to the statement. AGEL commits to achieving net zero as it runs more than 13-gigawatt renewable energy facilities worldwide.

Unknown Works received architecture awards to create the gallery space and they found new use for shelves taken from the Science Museum object store during its upgrade. The gallery tracks its environmental impact while creating parts from recyclable aluminum wherever needed.
