Gautam Adani Meets Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren — BIG Plans In The Making? News24 –

Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group, met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Ranchi on Friday, read a statement issued by the CMO. Adani arrived at the chief minister’s residence in Ranchi on Friday evening, and the meeting with the Chief Minister lasted for approximately two hours, the statement added.

“The chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, held a formal meeting with Chief Minister Hemant Soren today at the chief minister’s residential office. On this occasion, discussions took place regarding several topics related to investment in Jharkhand,” said the statement by the CMO.

This was the first encounter between Adani and Soren after the JMM-led alliance secured a second consecutive term in Jharkhand, following their victory in the November elections last year.

It is worth noting that the Adani Group has recently established a 1,600 MW power plant in Godda to supply power to neighbouring Bangladesh.
