The customer will have to shell out more money to purchase a car from Maruti Suzuki after the company said that it would increase the prices from Rs 2500 to Rs 62000 on various models from April 8.
Rising cost and operational expenses compel to hike the prices
The company said in a filing that the decision has been taken in the wake of the rising cost, operational expenses, and feature additions.
Consumers will witness a price hike in compact SUV Fronx by Rs 2,500, Dzire Tour S by Rs 3,000, and in the category of multi-purpose vehicles XL6 and Ertiga by Rs 12,500.
