Obstacle Cleared for Sharda University To LG Chowk Road Construction; Rs 31 Crore Tender to be Released Soon, Benefiting 5 Lakh People News24 –

The obstacle to the construction of Sharda University to LG Chowk road has been cleared. After the Greater Noida Authority CEO’s initiative NG Ravi Kumar, the T-series management is now ready to provide the land. Administrative approval has been given to construct the one-and-a-half-kilometer stretch. A tender of Rs 31 crore will be soon released for the project. 

According to a News24 report, the road construction is expected to be completed within six months and it will give commuters hassle-free connectivity from LG Chowk to Sharda University via Knowledge Park-1, 2, and 3. It is believed that the construction of the stretch will benefit five lakh people. 

The solution comes out after several rounds of talk

The construction of the road has been waiting for the last 15 years. The authority spoke to the management of T-series but did not fetch any results. The matter was taken to court, but the management was not ready to give the land for the construction of the road. One side of the stretch has paths and commuters take the road to go from LG Chowk to Sharda University. The Greater Noida CEO took up the task for the construction of the road and engaged the management of T-series in several rounds of talks which finally paid off in terms of solution. 

Six-lane road will be constructed

ACEO Laxmi VS said after witnessing problems for commuters, the company is ready to provide the land for the construction of the road. The ACEO said the construction will be started soon and a 3-lane road will be constructed on each side i.e. total six-lane road will be constructed. 

Construction will be completed in six months.

Service and central verges will be constructed on both sides. The resurfacing will also be done on the stretch. The drain of the service road and main drain will be constructed. It is expected that the construction will be completed in six months which would make the connectivity easier for the commuters.
