Avoid THESE Roads! Find Out Which Routes Will Remain Open News24 –

As the Durga Puja and Dussehra is being celebrated all over, an influx of visitors is expected across various locations in Delhi-NCR. To ensure smooth traffic flow during this busy day, police authorities in Delhi and Noida have issued traffic advisories.

Anticipated Crowds At Major Temples

The Delhi Police have identified several key spots that are likely to attract large gatherings between October 3 and October 13. Prominent locations include Jhandewalan Mandir, Shri Adhya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir in Chhatarpur, and Kalkaji Mandir.

Special Routes For Commuters

In light of the Durga Puja processions and immersions, commuters traveling from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway into Delhi via Kalindi Border will need to reroute from Charkha Roundabout toward Dalit Prerna Sthal. Vehicles can then continue towards their destinations via DND/Chilla.

Public Transport Encouraged

Authorities advise travelers to plan their journeys carefully and consider using public transport to help alleviate road congestion. Those heading to IGI Airport, New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, Nizamuddin Railway Station, and ISBT are urged to allocate extra time for potential delays along their routes.

Noida Traffic Restrictions

In Noida, the traffic advisory indicates that certain routes will experience restrictions starting at 2:00 PM on October 11 and continuing until the conclusion of celebrations on October 12. Roads around significant event locations, including Stadium Sector-21 and Ramlila Maidan in Sector-62, will be particularly affected during this timeframe.

Alternative Routes Suggested

Police recommend using alternative routes to avoid traffic disruptions during the celebrations. The advisory also outlines arrangements for idol immersions associated with Vijayadashami, with various key routes in the city set to be impacted starting at 9:00 AM on October 1.

Provisions For Safe Parking

To ensure safe vehicle parking as citizens engage in Navratri festivities, parking arrangements have been established in specific areas. For any emergencies, the Noida Police have set up a 24-hour helpline at 9971009001 for public assistance.
