YEIDA May Launch New Plot Scheme Soon! Could Be Your Chance To Own A Home Near Noida’s Jewar Airport

Amid rising demand for residential plots near Noida International Airport, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is reportedly planning to launch a new scheme. Homebuyers and investors are expected to be allocated plots in Sector 18 in Noida. According to reports, the registration process will commence after the YEIDA authorities would hold meeting with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regularity Authority (RERA) regarding the scheme. 

YEIDA had earlier rolled out two schemes in 2024. The first scheme, launched in July offered 361 plots attracting over 2 lakh applicants. Another housing scheme was launched in November. About 451 plots were offered under the initiative and about one lakh applications were received for the scheme. 

In recent times, there has been a surge in demand among buyers to own residential plots near Noida International Airport. Yamuna Authority’s OSD Shailendra Bhatia said that a new scheme will be launched soon after registration process with RERA is finished, TV9 reports. The new scheme, previously stuck in legal dispute in 2009, will allocate land in Sector 18 and 20.

Meanwhile, Investors and homebuyers can benefit from the new scheme launched recently by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). The scheme offers 10 premium plots. The prices of these plots ranging from 51 to 500 square meters will be determined based on their location and size.

According to reports, the price is expected to start from Rs 27 lakh and go up to over two crores. The allotment of lands would be conducted through e-auction process, with registrations open until January 25, 2025. Interested applicants must submit required documents before February 1, 2025.
