Delhi Weather Update: Delhi’s weather is going to witness major changes in the upcoming week. The maximum temperature is expected to soar to 34 degrees Celsius. There has been slight fall in minimum temperatures and slight rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hour. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted sky to remain mainly clear on Saturday, 8th March. Mist will engulf parts of the national capital during morning hours.
Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For Coming Days
The maximum and minimum temperatures will remain 31 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively on Saturday. In the coming week, the maximum temperature is expected to reach up to 34 degrees Celsius on 11 March. According to the IMD, the maximum and minimum temperatures are currently in the range of 28 to 30°C and 10 to 12°C respectively. This data by the IMD indicates that the days are turning warmer and Delhi’s weather is undergoing transition. Mist has been forecasted till 13th March. No other specific warning has been issued for Delhi’s weather.
The IMD further stated that a fresh Western Disturbance is set to affect Western Himalayan region from 9th March. Delhi is likely to brace its impact. IMD said that mainly clear sky with strong surface wind conditions from west direction with speed 25-35 Kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours.


AQI In Delhi
The air quality in the national capital continues to remain in the ‘moderate’ category. The AQI was recorded at 175 on Saturday at 6 AM, according to the CPCB. The CAQM on Friday invoked actions under Stage I of GRAP in Delhi-NCR after AQI was recorded ‘Poor’ yesterday.
