Delhi Weather Update: Delhi’s weather has witnessed slight changes this week. While the maximum temperature was recorded above 30 degrees Celsius, partly cloudy sky was also observed. Strong surface winds also prevailed as an effect of the Western Disturbance over Western Himalayan region. Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For Today, 14 March
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain and drizzle over the capital. Sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day. It stated that there is possibility of drizzle in the morning and a spell of very light rain/drizzle towards evening/night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to remain 33 and 19 degrees Celsius respectively on Friday, 14th March. No other specific warning regarding the weather in Delhi has been issued by the IMD.
According to the Delhi Regional Meteorological Centre’s weather bulletin, there has been been slight rise in minimum temperatures and no large change in maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. The Maximum and Minimum temperatures are currently in the range of 32 to 35°C and 17 to 19°C respectively. It further stated that the minimum temperatures were above normal by 1-4°C and maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°C over most places over Delhi.
Outlook For Next 5 Days
The maximum temperature is expected to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius on 19 March. It is expected to remain in the range of 32 to 34°C on other days. Cloudy sky has been predicted on 15th and 16th March. The sky will start turning clear from 16th March. There is possibility of light rain/ drizzle on 15 and 16March with mist during morning hours.

AQI In Delhi
The air quality in the national capital is in ‘moderate’ category. The AQI was recorded 195 at 6 am on Friday, according to the CPCB.
