Noida: In a significant step towards solving major problems in villages, the Noida Authority has made special plans that will provide immediate solutions. Notably, there are nearly 81 villages in the Noida Authority area, and daily, different types of problems keep arising. In light of this, the Authority has decided that a rural development officer will be appointed in the villages.

Rs 224 Crore To Be Spent On Development

These officers will be mainly responsible for solving the problems of the villagers and overseeing the development work there. According to Noida Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh, a team will be deployed under the respective officers of each village. Additionally, Noida Authority will spend an estimated amount of Rs 224 crore on the development of the villages. He added that their problems will be resolved as a priority. This time, more than double the budget amount has been fixed to expedite the relief and development work.

Poor Condition Of Villages

According to News24 reporter Junaid Akhtar, for many years, the villagers have been demanding development along the lines of sectors. Public representatives have also written letters to the officers of the Noida Authority to speed up the work. The condition of the villages is bad due to the garbage everywhere. Additionally, drains and roads are broken in many places. Sewages, on the other hand, are overflowing, and demands for the construction of marriage halls and other buildings have been pending since many years.

Rural development Officer To Oversee The Problems

The CEO informed that the budget estimated to be spent on the development of villages has been doubled in this financial year. Now they have decided to appoint a separate rural development officer. He will oversee the villagers’ problems.
