Delhi Weather Update: Over the past 24 hours, minimum temperatures have markedly risen in Delhi, while maximum temperatures have remained largely unchanged. On Sunday, the Westerly surface wind blew at 10-15 km/h. As per the latest press release, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the maximum temperatures to remain unchanged during the next 2 days and thereafter fall by 2-3°C.
Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days
Due to a fresh Western Disturbance, the Western Himalayan region will see significant weather changes from 2nd May, 2025. Its impact will be witnessed over Delhi/NCR as the city will receive rain in the coming days. On 28th April, the Met Department has predicted partly cloudy skies as the day proceeds with occasional sustained surface winds. There is no heat wave condition, however, the maximum temperatures may hit 40 degrees Celsius.
Delhiites might experience some respite from the scorching heat on 29th April as IMD has forecast very light rain to lash the city. Additionally, the winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 Km/h, later gusting to 50 Km/h. Thereafter, on 30th April and 1st May, the sky will be partly cloudy and maximum temperatures will remain between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, a generally cloudy sky with very light rain or drizzle is expected along with thunder, lightning, and gusty wind on 2nd and 3rd May. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 40 degrees this Saturday. There is no heat wave condition expected in the national capital during these days.
