The weather suddenly changed in Delhi-NCR on Saturday afternoon. The national capital received rain accompanied by strong winds. Light rain was recorded in many areas of Noida, while heavy rain was recorded in some areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many parts of the region in the next five days. According to the IMD, an alert has been issued for rain and thunderstorms for the next five days in the southern states of the country, especially Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.
During this, the shed of the Rapid Rail Metro Ashok Nagar station was damaged by strong winds accompanied by rain. Strong winds and heavy rain caused the metal tin of the metro to take flight. It was reported that the tin was thrown into the air and hit a nearby vehicle. This also damaged the vehicle. As of now, the employees of the metro are in the process of getting rid of the tin from the place. No one was injured or killed during this incident.

Not only in Ashok Nagar, but a traffic light pole fell in Noida’s DM Chowk after heavy rainfall in the NCR region.
