Man Stabbed To Death By Friend In Barola Village After Alcohol-Fueled Argument; Arrested News24 –

Noida: In a shocking incident that unfolded late at night on Monday in Barola village, a man was stabbed to death in Noida’s Sector 49. Upon receiving information, the Police reached the spot and arrested the suspect. Meanwhile, the deceased’s body was taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem examination.

What Exactly Happened?

According to Noida Zone ADCP Sumit Shukla, the victim’s friend committed the murder. It has been learnt that both were initially drinking alcohol and started playing cards. Things took a tragic turn after a dispute broke out between them, which later escalated. During the altercation, the accused stabbed his friend to death. Police have identified the deceased as Kapil alias Kapila, son of Omprakash, a resident of JJ Colony Sector-49, Noida.

Victim Was Stabbed Several Times In The Stomach And Chest

ADCP Sumit Shukla further added that the accused Jitendra and Kapil often sat together and drank alcohol. Kapil was stabbed several times with a knife in the stomach and chest area. He sustained major injuries in the process and died on the spot.

Accused Locked Himself In A Room

Following the incident, Jitendra fled the scene and hid in his house. Upon hearing the noise, the local people followed him and informed the police. In the meantime, the accused had locked himself in the room. The authorities reached the spot and managed to open the gate of the room and arrest him.
