Ghaziabad: In a shocking incident, the dead body of a woman was found stuffed inside a suitcase along the canal road between Hajipur of Loni, in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Tuesday. Police received the information around 7 am. A team was sent to the spot and the body has been sent for post-mortem. The team examined the suitcase and recovered the unidentified body of a woman, estimated to be around 26 years old. According to reports, the body was found with the legs in a crossed position and the head positioned in one corner of the bag. Blood was also visible just below the woman’s nose.
Police stated that the identity of the victim is yet to be established and signs suggest she was married, as toe rings were found on her feet. Injuries on her forehead and back have also been confirmed.

Another Incident
In another incident reported from Delhi on June 8, a 9-year-old girl was allegedly murdered after being raped in Delhi’s Nehru Vihar. Her body was found stuffed in a suitcase. The shocking assault came to light after a child from the area reportedly informed some elders that the girl was spotted walking towards a nearby apartment.
Some residents reached the locked house and broke open the door, where they found the girl’s body, which was barely clothed. It was learnt that the deceased had gone missing for around 3 hours. Following the shocking discovery, the locals took her to a nursing home.
An FIR has been filed in the matter, and a search operation is underway to track down those involved.
