Rain Brings Relief! More Showers And Thunderstorms Expected Until July 13 – Check Forecast News24 –

Delhi Weather Update: After days of hot and humid conditions, moderate to heavy rainfall brought much-needed relief to Delhi on Wednesday evening. The showers, under the influence of an active monsoon system, led to a significant drop in temperatures and changes in weather conditions. Cooler temperatures offered a refreshing break for residents from the persistent heat and humidity. While the rain turned the weather pleasant, residents faced disruptions as waterlogging was reported in several parts of Delhi. Traffic came to a standstill in many areas following the heavy rainfall, and flight services at the IGI airport were also affected.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the south-west monsoon trough currently passes through Amritsar, Chandigarh, Najibabad, Kanpur and Daltonganj.

Yesterday’s rain has led to a dip in maximum temperature, and today it is expected to remain around 32°C. A humidity level of 90 per cent has been predicted for the day, which might make the weather uncomfortable for some.

No specific alert has been issued by the IMD for Thursday; however, residents are advised to keep checking the official website, as alerts are sounded after assessing the live weather developments.

Light to moderate rainfall is likely to continue, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on all the days. The daytime temperature is expected to remain in the range of 33-35°C, while humidity level will range between 80-90 per cent on the remainder days of the week.
