The weather is unpredictable not only in Delhi but also its surrounding regions, which is keeping common people in amusement or bemusement regarding what to expect. Starting from Tuesday morning, Delhi NCR has been covered with dark and dense clouds, but in most part of the region, the weather has not changed much and only in some pockets, very light drizzles have occurred.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi-NCR anytime on Wednesday. Along with heavy rain, strong winds and lightning are also predicted. The IMD has therefore warned that the weather may suddenly change, and advises vigilance. So far, no alert has been issued.
Forecasts predict that the skies in New Delhi will generally be cloudy with some periods of storms or showers up to July 21, when intermittent sunshine is expected. There will also be surface winds reaching speeds of 40 kmph that will keep the climate mostly temperate, with temperature fluctuations of 24–34 °C, before the development of localised storms or disturbances as the wind direction changes.
