Massive Fire at Kosmos Hospital Kills One, Several Rescued News24 –


A tragedy in Delhi claimed a life, after a massive fire broke out at the Kosmos Hospital in Delhi. The incident took place on Vikas Marg, at 12:20 p.m. Ten patients were safely shifted to the nearby Pushpanjali Hospital, while one succumbed to the incident. The fire tenders have brought the situation under control. 

Fire Officer Ashok Kumar Jaiswal said, “The control room of Delhi Fire Service received information around 12.20 pm that a fire broke out at the Kosmos hospital. Four to five teams reached the spot and the fire initially broke out in the server room on the ground floor…11 people have been rescued and one person died.”

As per the investigation, it has become apparent that the fire first broke out in the server room on the ground floor. He further reported that 11 people were affected, and one of them has died.

Seven Killed As Wall Collapses In Hari Nagar

In a tragic incident, seven people, including three men, two women, and two children, lost their lives after a wall collapsed following heavy overnight rainfall in the Hari Nagar area of Jaitpur, south-east Delhi.

The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Ravi Bull, 25-year-old Rubina, 27-year-old Safikul from Assam, 50-year-old Muttus from West Bengal, and 28-year-old Doli from Assam. Apart from this, 25-year-old Hasibul sustained injuries.

The rescued persons were admitted to a hospital. Authorities were taking steps to evacuate the huts to prevent further accidents.
