Delhi Traffic Advisory: Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory, outlining major restrictions and diversions due to an ongoing protest call by advocates. In the advisory, effective on Wednesday (August 29), commuters are urged to avoid major stretches such as Madhuban Chowk, Rohini Court, Pitampura, and Shiva Market.
Major Roadblocks And Diversions
- Delhi Police has announced diversion in and around Lala Jagannath Marg, Sai Baba Chowk, Kohat Enclave, Aashiana Chowk Road, Power House, and near Shiva Market Outer Ring Road.
- Rithala to Wazirpur traffic: Vehicles will be rerouted towards Sai Baba Chowk, M2K Cinema, Rohini, and then to Outer Ring Road, and again on Britannia Chowk or Peeragarhi.
- Wazirpur traffic: Diversions will be in place in and around Britannia Shakurpur Railway Station Road, Outer Ring Road-M2K Rohini Road, Sai Baba Chowk Rohini/Rithala.
- Commuters are urged to avoid Madhuban Chowk, Rohini Court, and Lala Jagat Narayan Marg. The alternate routes are NSP, Kohat Enclave → Maya Muni Ram Marg.

- Use UER-II for Dwarka, IGI Airport and Gurugram
- Travel via Metro
Commuters are advised to plan their journey in advance to reach their destinations on time to avoid inconvenience. Additionally, motorists are requested to adhere to traffic rules and cooperate with traffic personnel for a smooth experience.
