GSI Hosts Successful Event, Explores Hindi As A Growing Force In India’s Socio-Economic Landscape News24 –


A State Language Conference under the Geological Survey of India (GSI) and Ministry of Mines was held at Scope Complex in New Delhi on Friday, where dignitaries from multiple departments including media, education, and ministry participated to focus on the Hindi language and its importance around the world.

The conference, which started at 10 a.m., was divided into two sessions: “Growing Market of Hindi in India” and “Media, Cinema and Hindi.” In these two sessions, experts from various departments shared their views on Hindi in social and professional life.

Hindi Is Unity And Indian Culture

The conference was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur. Following this, Manish Khar, Deputy Director General, Office of the Director General, Geological Survey of India, praised the participants and described Hindi as a symbol of unity and the cultural identity of India. News 24 Business Officer and Group Editor Sushant Mohan also participated in the conference to express his views on Hindi.

Growing Market Of Hindi In India

Hindi is not only a communication language but also a social and financial medium for opportunities, said participants, while adding that the importance of Hindi continues to grow in advertising, digital media, and entertainment. Hindi is also strengthening its presence in business, education, and technical fields, reflecting that it is an emerging language around the world.

Media, Cinema And Hindi

In another session, it was observed that Hindi easily delivers information to people through news channels, newspapers, and digital platforms. Hindi TV shows are not only famous in India but are also establishing a global identity. New platforms like OTT and social media have connected Hindi with the younger generation, making it more powerful and impactful.
