Delhi-NCR reports first death from Dengue this season; Noida Official dies in hospital News24 –

Delhi-NCR recorded its first confirmed death from dengue on Tuesday (October 7, 2025). Noida Authority assistant general manager (department of institution) Ashish Bhati became the first to die from the disease at Delhi’s Apollo Hospital. Initially, the authorities in both Noida, where Bhati resided, and Delhi, where he was hospitalized, insisted that the case should be attributed to the other city, according to reports.

A senior health official in Delhi told TOI, “The case will be counted for Noida since the mosquito bite happened in Noida.” The Noida official’s death is yet to be confirmed by the city’s health department.
