Noida Traffic advisory: In a comprehensive traffic advisory issued on Thursday, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has outlined major restrictions and diversions for Chhath Puja celebrations. The primary locations where the festival will be celebrated are the Yamuna River (Kalindi Kunj), Hindon River Bridge, Kuleshra, Chotpur/Bahlapur (Sector 63), and Noida Stadium (Sector 21 A). Traffic will remain affected near the mentioned key routes from October 27 to 28, 2025.
During this time, all heavy, medium, and light cargo vehicles will be diverted as needed to provide accessible and safe transportation for the general public. Medical or fire service vehicles will, however, remain exempt from the above restrictions on Monday and Tuesday. Commuters are urged to use the suggested alternative routes to reach their destinations on time.
Major Restrictions And Diversions
- Vehicles moving towards Delhi via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via Kalindi Border will be rerouted from Charkha Roundabout to Dalit Prerna Sthal. These vehicles will then proceed to their destination via DND/Chilla.
- Traffic approaching from Sector 37 towards Kalindi Border will be diverted from the Mahamaya Flyover towards Dalit Prerna Sthal. This traffic will then proceed to its destination via DND/Chilla.
- Traffic heading from Surajpur towards Kuleshra/Phase-2 will be rerouted from Kachha Sadak Tiraha towards Chauganpur Roundabout. The vehicles will then proceed to their destination via Bisrakh Roundabout.
- Traffic going from Phase-2 towards Hindon River will be diverted from Phase-2 towards Kakrala and proceed to its destination via Sorkha, Bisrakh.
- Traffic going from Kisan Chowk towards Parthala will be rerouted from Kisan Chowk towards Bisrakh. The vehicles can then proceed to their destination via Bisrakh, Sorkha, and Parthala.
- Traffic going from Parthala towards Kisan Chowk will be diverted from the Parthala roundabout towards Sorkha and later proceed towards its destination via Sorkha Bisrakh.
