Delhi Traffic Alert: Curbs Near IGI Stadium for ‘Zakir Khan Live’ Show Till Nov 2

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Traffic movement will remain affected near the Main Arena (Gym), Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, from October 31 to November 2 due to the ‘Zakir Khan Live’ show. In a comprehensive advisory issued on Thursday, the Delhi Traffic Police has outlined various restrictions in and around the stadium. Residents and commuters are urged to use alternate routes during the period.

Traffic Restrictions And Diversions

  • Need-based diversion and restriction on IP Marg/Vikas Marg (MGM Road).
  • Heavy vehicles will be restricted on the roads from Rajghat to IP Marg.

Timings And Affected Routes

Avoid the following routes:

  • IP Marg (MGM Road)
  • Vikas Marg
  • Ring Road (from Rajghat to IP Depot)

Check timings here:

October 31, 2025: From 6 pm to 10 pm
November 1, 2025: From 1 pm to 10 pm
November 2, 2025: From 12 pm to 10 pm

Stadium Entry Points

  • Gate Nos. 7 and 8, located on Velodrome Road: Entry to these gates will be via Velodrome Road
  • Gate Nos. 21, 22, and 23, located on Ring Road: Entry to these gates will be via MGM Road
  • Gate Nos. 16 and 18, located on Ring Road: Entry to these gates will be from MGM Road

Parking Guidelines And Details

  • Limited parking for vehicles with valid parking labels near the stadium
  • Display of the parking label on the windscreen is mandatory
  • Vehicle number must be written on the label
  • Vehicles without valid parking labels will not be allowed near the stadium
  • Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road, Entry to parking lots shall be from MGM Road
