Delhi traffic alert: Avoid THESE routes on November 7, curb announced in Mehrauli


Delhi Traffic Advisory: Traffic movement will remain affected in South Delhi’s Mehrauli on November 7, 2025, from 11 am onwards. Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive advisory outlining major restrictions and diversions due to “Baba Bageshwar Dham Pad Yatra” from Chhattarpur’s Adhya Katyayani Mandir to Vrindavan’s Shree Banke Bihari Mandir. Commuters must avoid the mentioned key stretches and plan their journey accordingly, as over 50,000 devotees are expected to participate in the pad yatra.

Restrictions And Diversions

Restrictions will be imposed on the movement of all types of vehicles. Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) and private vehicles will face regulations and diversions on the following roads:

  • From Y-Point, Chhattarpur to Dera More on SSN Marg (11 am to 8 pm)
  • From CDR Chowk to Y-Point, Chhattarpur and vice versa (8 am to 4 pm)
  • From Dera More to Y-Point, Chhattarpur and vice versa (8 am to 8 pm)
  • From Zeer Khod to Dera More and vice versa (1 pm to 10 pm) and (7 am to 1 pm) on November 8.

Parking Restrictions

Parking restrictions will be effective from CDR Chowk to Dera Mandi and Zeer Khod between 8 am to 10 am on November 7, 2025. Motorists are advised to avoid the following stretches – SSN Marg, Chhattarpur Mandir Road, and 100 Foot Road

Alternative Routes

  • Vehicles approaching from SSN Marg towards Faridabad will be diverted via MG Road through CDR Chowk
  • Commuters heading towards Gurugram via Zeer Khod Road may proceed towards Mandi Road through the CDR Chowk
  • Vehicles coming from Dera Gaon and heading towards Chhattarpur will be rerouted from Bandh Road towards Mandi Road.

NOTE: All types of emergency vehicles, like Ambulances, Fire Brigade, etc, will be allowed to enter the restricted roads. Public and motorists are advised to use public transport and plan their journey as heavy traffic is expected around Chhattarpur Mandir and SSN Marg.
