Delhi-NCR weather update: Amid an intensifying cold wave, Delhi‑NCR woke up to a chilly and wet morning on Friday, January 23. Delhi-NCR weather update: IMD issues yellow alert

The IMD has warned that cloudy skies and scattered showers may continue through the day. One or two spells of light rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 30-40 km/h, are likely during the early to late morning hours. Another spell of very light to light rain may occur in the afternoon or evening. Shallow fog is expected during the morning, reducing visibility in some areas and adding to the chilly, damp conditions across the region.

These conditions may lead to reduced visibility and disruption in higher-altitude regions.
